HERE IS THE STORY OF OUR COVER PHOTO OF PIT WALL CALENDAR 2023
Athena was found in a desperate state on a roadside in Aydın, Turkey. She had just given birth to 7 puppies. She was taken to a safe garden and there she nursed them for 2 months. She was then under the care of PIT; where she got spayed and rehabilitated for a year. In the Summer of 2022 a family from Sweden wanted to adopt her so she flew to her new life in July. However one of her puppies, Pearl, was left behind as she was also with Athena in the boarding home. She was very attached to her mother so when Athena left she was feeling very lonely and sad. We tried to find her a home but nobody stepped in to adopt her. Finally the good news came from Sweden(again) and the same family wanted to adopt Pearl as their 4th dog! This photo is taken right after the mother and daughter were united in October, 2022 and they are living happily ever after☺
